Role in AIMS-2-TRIALS

The Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Department, directed by Prof. Richard Delorme has a broad background in psychiatry and genetics, with specific expertise in biomarkers. Psychologists, speech therapists and psychiatrists working at the department have all a vast experience in the evaluation of patients with neurodevelopmental disorders. In the last few years, the team was involved in the recruitment of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) families that have been enrolled in several genetics research programs (Autism Genome Project, InForAutism), brain imaging studies (ABIDE) and Induce Pluripotent stem cell-based drug screening technology (IStem, Evry). The department has established strong ties with community providers that will make it possible to recruit and track participants to participate in research. This leads to publications in top level ranking journals.

AP-HP will specifically be involved in the study investigating brain activity and behaviours in pre-school children and in the trial testing a medicine for social difficulties.
