General Information

The Patrick Wild Centre, University of Edinburgh (UEDIN) is a collaborative research centre bringing together fundamental and clinical research into autism and intellectual disabilities. Since early 2017, it has included the Simons Initiative for the Developing Brain (www.sidb.org.uk) which has a focus on investigating the brain mechanisms associated with autism.

 

Role in AIMS-2-TRIALS

Our primary role, with other collaborating sites, is to work developing new medicines project. We are specifically involved in the study on a medicine for social difficulties. The work of SIDB also complements that of other projects in AIMS-2-TRIALS.
